According to Textile Global, Genomatica will be able to further its product strategy and feedstock flexibility, as a result of two patents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This will enable the innovative leader of sustainable chemicals to “green” nylon!
Nylon is one of the most common materials in consumer products and has been a synthetic replacement for silk since World War II. So, along the journey to generate more sustainable and eco-friendly fashion, a reinvented form of nylon would be spectacular!
